It comes from a finance practice in Abuja, not a software company. It exists because the monthly pack took days to assemble and still ended at a number nobody had to act on.
Who is behind it
I am a chartered accountant (ICAN) with fourteen years in finance, and I have produced the pack this platform makes. I was second-in-command to the CFO at a US$1.2 billion utility, reporting results to the board and running accounting, treasury, tax and investor relations. Today I own the annual operating plan and the month-on-month variance for a diversified group across the Middle East and Africa. I have built the business cases behind capital projects, structured a US$150 million equity facility, and trained about two thousand finance professionals in modelling and valuation.
Datarite FP&A exists because every one of those packs took days to assemble and ended at a number, not a decision. I specified and shipped its sister product, CashLens, the same way this one is built: every figure carries its formula, every gap names the file that would fill it, and nothing is invented. If a number here cannot be traced, that is a defect, and I want to hear about it.

What we believe a pack is for
A number is not an output. The output is a decision with an owner and a test, and a pack that cannot say what it does not know is a pack a board cannot trust with what it does. Every figure here carries its formula; every gap is named with the file that would fill it; every default is labelled and replaced when your own history can supply it.
What we are not
Not a bookkeeping system, not a system of record, not an audit, and not advice on investment, tax or law. The platform recommends operational actions from your own figures. The consulting practice is a separate engagement and is not what a subscription buys.
