Who you are contracting with

Datarite FP&A is operated by Datarite Consulting, a Business Name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Republic of Nigeria under BN 2611623, trading since 2018.

When paid plans open, payments will be processed by a payment provider named on the pricing page, which will appear on your card statement. Your agreement for the service itself is with Datarite Consulting.

What the service does

Datarite FP&A analyses the accounting exports you upload - trial balances, a budget, operational measures - and produces a board pack, its workings, a workbook, a mapping review and, on the plans that include them, a driver-based budget, an outlook and ranked decisions. Every figure is derived from the files you provide and carries the formula and inputs used to produce it.

What it is not

Datarite FP&A does not provide investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. It recommends operational actions only. Decisions about financing, structuring, tax treatment or contractual matters are yours to make with appropriately qualified advisers.

It is not a bookkeeping system, not a system of record, and not a substitute for your accounts. Nothing it produces is audited or certified.

No person reviews your files. It is self-serve software. You upload exports, code computes from them, and the outputs are returned automatically. There is no analyst, no engagement, no professional opinion and no sign-off.

Datarite Consulting also operates a separate consulting practice. That practice is not what is sold here. A subscription buys access to the software and nothing else.

Budgets, outlooks and decisions are estimates

A budget built from drivers, an outlook with its P10 / P50 / P90, and a decision’s stated impact are estimates from your own history and the assumptions the run records. They are not commitments and not predictions of what will happen. Where a figure rests on an industry default rather than your history it is labelled ASSUMED, and where the files cannot support a figure it is NOT AVAILABLE. You remain responsible for every decision you take.

Accuracy depends on your files

The outputs are only as correct as the exports you upload. Account names and codes are placed by rules and listed for you to confirm in the mapping review; a misplaced account is yours to correct there or by uploading a chart of accounts. A run that cannot reconcile stops and tells you why rather than producing a document.

Your responsibilities

• Upload only files you are entitled to upload, for a business you are entitled to analyse.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself. Sessions expire after twelve hours.
• Treat a share link as a password: anyone holding it can read that document until it expires or you revoke it.
• Do not attempt to reach another account’s data, probe the service, or use it to build a competing product.

Availability and current status

The service is provided as it is, without a guarantee of availability. It is early: features change, and the plan a feature sits on may change. Nothing you have already run is taken away when a plan changes, and a document you have downloaded is yours.

Payment, billing and refunds

The Free plan needs no card. Paid plans are enabled by request until checkout opens; when it does, plans are billed monthly in advance. A full refund is available within 30 days of a first payment, and cancelling stops the next payment while access continues to the end of the period already paid for. The refund page states the same promise in the same words, because two documents that describe one promise differently is how a dispute starts: read the refund policy.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by writing to support@datariteconsulting.com; your account and its files are then deleted as the privacy page describes. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will say why.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing in them limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
